Trick or Ribbit

A green frog in a purple witch hat sits inside an orange pumpkin for Halloween. The frog raises one arm over the edge.

The design

The purple hat has an orange brim and small stars. The orange pumpkin features triangle eyes and a jagged mouth. Black backstitch outlines define the shapes. The mock-up shows the stitches on light grey fabric.

Stitching it

This beginner project uses full cross stitches and backstitch. Eleven DMC colours provide the details. The finished piece fits a 4-inch hoop.

Finishing it

The stitched item becomes a Halloween card or an ornament. It also fits inside a square frame.
