The design
Rows of grey stars sit at the top and bottom edges. Wide zigzag stripes in blue and grey separate the sections. A line of blue and dark grey pine trees is flanked by rust and peach shapes. The piece is shown stitched on cream fabric and sewn into a cushion with a grey border.
Stitching it
This intermediate pattern relies on full cross stitches to form the motifs. The grid uses six thread colours. The needlework fits a 12 by 16-inch cushion pad when sewn on 14-count Aida.
Finishing it
